RICE-raffia baskets are some of our first products, and we are still big fans… All of our raffia-products are handmade with heart in Madagascar, and it is truly a fantastic natural material that can be made in many nice colors, patterns, sizes and shapes. And as they are handmade you will never find two identical raffia-products, which to us, is a part of the charm. The raffia-fibre comes from palm leaves and our raffia originates from within Madagascar - where parts of the whole story behind RICE began. Our raffia-products are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar where our production functions as a positive contribution to more than 300 locals on the Red Island...
