Raffia is one our first materials, and we are still big fans… All of our raffia-products are handmade with heart in Madagascar, and it is truly a fantastic natural material that can be made in many nice colors, patterns, sizes and shapes. The raffia-fiber comes from palm leaves and our raffia originates from within Madagascar - where parts of the whole story behind RICE began. Our raffia-products are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar where our production functions as a positive contribution to more than 300 locals on the Red Island...
