Our raffiabags are a must have - super easy and practical for everyday life... They are some of our first products, and we are still big fans… All of our raffia-products are handmade with a heart in Madagascar, and it is truly a fantastic natural material that can be made in many nice colors, patterns, sizes and shapes. And as they are handmade you will never find two identical raffia-products, which to us, is a part of the charm. The colors will fade gradually if placed in direct sunlight. Also, avoid contact with water as the colors might transfer. Note not to over stuff your bags (max. 5 kg). The raffia-fibers come from palm leaves and our raffia originates from within Madagascar - where parts of the whole story behind RICE began. Our raffia-products are produced in two villages in the mountains of Madagascar where our production functions as a positive contribution to more than 300 locals on the Red Island...
